MOTORRAD Profile 8
BMW Motorräder der Fünfziger Jahre
The surrender of Germany in WW II lead to a total break down in motorcycle production. The Allies instead forced the reconstruction of the former companies associated with motorcycle production including all well known companies of the prewar era. After nearly 50 years only BMW could compete and is still on the market with modern types.
The author Thomas Reinwald describes the early types of BMW motorcycles forming the beginning of the German economic wonder.
